I first saw Luis perform at a friend’s daughter’s outdoor afternoon wedding this past spring, and I was very impressed with his music and his friendly manner. He added a lot to the event, and I made a mental note at the time that it was the kind of music that people really enjoy listening to. Little did I know then that I would soon be talking to him about just such a situation! About three weeks later, my daughter (who was engaged at the time), announced that her and her fiance wanted to be married before they left for a year of teaching in Korea. They had originally planned to wait until the following summer, but had made the decision to hurry things up, and go overseas as a married couple. That left me exactly eleven weeks to help plan a wedding for 250 guests, so you can imagine my stress level!
I spoke to Luis as soon as I could, and he was very easy to talk to. He answered all my questions with ease, and was able to confirm his participation early on. He assured me he could set up, and even change locations midway through the afternoon, as the wedding ceremony would be outside by the hotel pool, but the festivities would continue inside in the foyer. Luis also provided us with an extensive playlist, and offered suggestions about an appropriate choice for signing the register. Needless to say, his rendition of “Unforgettable” was just that, as he inserted the bride and groom’s names into the lyrics, and certainly entertained our guests. We had many compliments on his musical stylings, both before the ceremony began, and afterwards when he entertained everyone while the family and wedding party photos were being taken.
I was disappointed that I didn’t get as much of an opportunity to enjoy his beautiful singing and music that day, but I was thrilled with what I did hear. He made a beautiful day even more special for our family and friends, and for the bride and groom, of course. I would definitely recommend Luis for any kind of occasion, and I can honestly say that he will be “unforgettable” too!
